John Badham directs this sports drama starring Kevin Costner and David Grant. Marcus and David (Costner and Grant) are two competitive brothers whose passion for the sport of cycling is matched only by their love and respect for each other. After a tragic illness takes their father, Marcus and David enter the gruelling Hell of the West competition, which will see them battling world champions to cross the finish line.

In the course of their journey, the brothers are once again confronted with their father's death, learning that his genetic illness could strike either of them at any moment. Will they succeed in completing the Hell of the West?
