Rouben Mamoulian directs this 1931 adaptation of the classic novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. The story follows the experiments of Dr Jekyll (Fredric March) who seeks to prove that man can have two personalities by separating his good self from his evil self. Concocting and then ingesting a potion that divides these two selves, Jekyll unleashes his monstrous alter ego, Mr Hyde.
