Vincent Sherman directs this swashbuckling adventure drama starring Errol Flynn and Viveca Lindfors. Spanish noble Don Juan (Flynn) has been forced to leave London due to his numerous romantic exploits and has been accepted into the court of Queen Margaret of Spain (Lindfors). Don Juan struggles to contain his desires and falls for the Queen, but when an evil plot threatens her life and that of her husband, King Philip III (Romney Brent), Don Juan must place his own life on the line to protect her.
