Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams star in this drama directed by Terry Gilliam. Arrogant radio host Jack Lucas (Bridges) is devastated when a comment he makes on air prompts one of his regular listeners to shoot multiple people in a restaurant. On the brink of suicide, he meets Parry (Williams), a homeless man who believes it is his mission to find the Holy Grail.

Parry asks for Jack's help in completing his quest and Jack is initially reluctant until he realises who Parry really is. The cast also includes Amanda Plummer and Mercedes Ruehl.
