Italian horror directed by Lucio Fulci. When two patrolmen in New York City investigate an abandoned boat that has drifted into the harbour, they are confronted by a violent, blood-soaked man who kills one patrolman before being shot by the other and falling overboard. It soon transpires that the boat belongs to a missing scientist whose daughter Anne (Tisa Farrow) now sets off to discover his fate.

Accompanied by journalist Peter West (Ian McCulloch) and two guides, Anne sails to the Caribbean island where her father was last reported alive. However, the group are soon attacked by terrifying flesh-eating zombies and embark on a desperate fight for survival.
