Each episode is a standalone comedy set behind the doors of a different house number nine on a British street. The various characters include a therapist who saves a man from jumping off a bridge, a family in an escape room and a piano tuner forced to deal with a powerful curse.

Guest stars appearing in this series include Jason Watkins, Mark Gatiss and Natalie Dormer. The episodes are: 'Boo to a Goose', 'The Trolley Problem', 'Mulberry Close', 'CTRL, ALT, ESC', 'The Curse of the Ninth' and 'Plodding On'.
