I Saw What You Did (1965) is a thriller directed by William Castle, starring Joan Crawford and John Ireland.

The film follows two teenage girls, Libby and Kit, who play a prank by making random phone calls and telling people, "I saw what you did, and I know who you are."

The joke turns dangerous when they unknowingly call a man named Steve Marak (Ireland), who has just committed murder. Believing they've witnessed his crime, Steve becomes obsessed with finding and silencing them.
