Teen comedy starring Lindsay Lohan as Lola, a popular and pretty New York City teenager whose family has recently moved from fashionable Greenwich Village to the backwater of Dellwood, New Jersey. Despairing of her new, hopelessly suburban surroundings, Lola spends her time dreaming about becoming a star, and fantasising about her favourite band. She sets to work to topple Carla Santini (Megan Fox) from her position of most popular girl in the school, and dreams of landing the lead role in the school production of 'Pygmalion'.

But Carla retaliates by getting hold of tickets to Lola's favourite band, who are playing a farewell concert in New York City. How can Lola ever hope to get her own back?
