Robert De Niro and Al Pacino star in this US crime drama directed by Martin Scorsese. The film tells the story of Frank 'The Irishman' Sheeran (De Niro), an ageing former union official and hitman. In 1950s Pennsylvania, Second World War veteran Frank becomes a loyal employee of Mafioso Russell Bufalino (Joe Pesci), the head of the Bufalino crime family, and subsequently union leader Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino), whose influential position comes under threat.

The cast also includes Ray Romano, Anna Paquin, Stephen Graham and Harvey Keitel.
