Sam Wood directs this 1930s American musical starring Groucho, Chico and Harpo Marx. After the wealthy Mrs Claypool (Margaret Dumont) invests in the New York Opera Company, arrogant opera singer Rodolfo Lassparri (Walter King) is recruited into the company, promising to be a star attraction. Backstage however, rivalry between members could sabotage the future of the company as soprano Rosa Castaldi (Kitty Carlisle) becomes the centre of a love triangle...
