The Ring (2002) is a horror film directed by Gore Verbinski, starring Naomi Watts.

The story follows journalist Rachel Keller (Watts), who investigates a mysterious videotape that allegedly causes anyone who watches it to die seven days later. After her niece dies under strange circumstances, Rachel watches the tape and begins experiencing eerie phenomena.

Desperate to uncover the truth, she races against time to unravel the origins of the tape.
