Guy (Reynolds) is a regular bank teller whose world is built upon a daily routine that sees him wear the same clothes, order the same coffee and converse with his best friend, police officer Buddy (Lil Rel Howery). However, when Guy encounters a mysterious woman who goes by the name of Molotov Girl (Comer) he learns that the world he inhabits is actually a virtual role-playing game and he is a Non-Playing Character.

Molotov Girl, whose real name is Millie, is in Free City because she is a programmer who is looking to get revenge on a rival programmer who stole her codes. Together Millie and Guy attempt to subvert the game in order to upset the game's publisher Antwan (Waititi).

This DVD is Region Free (It will play on all DVD players).
