Troll (1986):
Directed by John Carl Buechler, Troll features an evil troll named Torok (Michael Moriarty) who plans to engulf the world in darkness by transforming a high-rise apartment into a magical realm. The film follows an ancient sorceress (Anne Lockhart) and a young boy (Noah Hathaway) who team up to stop him. Julia Louis-Dreyfus also appears in an early role. The film is noted for its inventive special effects and creature design.

Troll II (1990):
Directed by Claudio Fragasso, is a cult classic notorious for its campy and low-budget execution. The story involves a family moving to a rural town where friendly locals are actually cannibalistic goblins. The goblins, led by Chief Goblin (Deborah Reed), trick visitors into becoming their food. Starring Michael Paul Stephenson and George Hardy, Troll II is celebrated for its so-bad-it’s-good charm and has gained fame through the documentary Best Worst Movie (2009).
