James Signorelli directs this horror comedy starring Cassandra Peterson as vampire Elvira who plans to open a show in Las Vegas, for which she requires $50,000, when she learns of her great aunt Maud's demise.

She travels to Maud's small home town where it transpires that Elvira has inherited a run-down house, a poodle and a cookery book. Before she can take this in, Elvira finds herself accused of witchcraft by the locals, only to discover that there is indeed a dark force at work in the town.
