Dune (2000):
Duke Leto Atreides (William Hurt) is assigned to rule Arrakis, the only source of the vital spice Melange. When his rival, Baron Harkonnen (Ian McNeice), reclaims the planet, Leto’s family must flee to the desert. With the aid of the Fremen and his own emerging powers, Leto’s son Paul (Alec Newman) leads a rebellion to transform the fate of the universe.

Children of Dune (2003):
This miniseries combines the second and third books, focusing on Paul’s twins, Leto (James McAvoy) and Ghanima (Jessica Brooks).
