Truck driver Lincoln Hawks (Sylvester Stallone) loves his son, but when his wealthy father-in-law attempts to gain custody he finds that he has no money to pay the court fees. The solution: he uses his God-given talent and enters the world of professional arm-wrestling, winning contest after contest until he arrives at the Las Vegas final. With Robert Loggia, Susan Blakely, and a soundtrack by 1980s synthesizer wizard Giorgio Moroder; co-written by Stallone and Stirling Silliphant ('Shaft in Africa', 'The Swarm').
