In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991), the turtles hunt for the origins of the mutagen that created them while facing off against Shredder's monstrous new creations, Tokka and Rahzar. Then the heroes are hurled back to feudal Japan in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993), trading pizza and sewers for samurai and shoguns in a time-travelling adventure.
